Data Link Technology Services is looking for a candidate experienced in installation and service of Access Control, IP Camera Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Alarm Systems, Intercom Systems and Public Address Systems from start to finish.

A candidate well versed in Structured Cabling practices is a BIG plus.

Candidate will interact with the Data Link Team Project Managers, Operations, Foreman, and Technicians along with General Contractor PM’s, Superintendents, and end users in any combination daily.

We are looking for strong customer service and detail minded candidates with a solid work ethic and sense of accountability to their peers and customers.

Job responsibilities include coordination with management and end users for installation of special systems cabling and hardware beginning at rough in stage, system cabling and cable support to installation of hardware, panel installation, programming, activation, documentation, and testing of systems.

It is important for this individual to be well versed in current standards and processes with various special systems platforms and have interest in maintaining/updating knowledge as things progress and technologies develop.

Candidate will also have strong trouble shooting skills, Electromechanical abilities, and understanding of basic networking.

We expect candidate to maintain safe, clean work environment at all stages of project and take great pride in the finished product.

Data Link partners with Brivo - Access Control and Eagle Eye Networks – Surveillance. Familiarity with these systems is a huge plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation and have reliable transportation.

Any manufacture and/ or BICSI certifications are a plus.

Candidate should have 2 years minimum experience with Special Systems.

Any experience with structured cabling, Voice/Data and Fiber Optics is very helpful.
