?? Position: Structural Steel Estimator
?? Location: Chatsworth, CA 91311
? Employment Type: Full-time
What You’ll Do:
•Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects including misc. steel and field erection.
•Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment with project specifications.
•Evaluate drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material and labor costs.
•Identify potential risks, propose value engineering solutions, and optimize project budgets.
•Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, material prices, and lead times.
What We’re Looking For:
? Experience: Minimum 2yrs. in structural steel estimation or related field.
? Skills: Proficiency in estimation software such as Tekla, FabSuite, or Bluebeam.
? Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
? Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with teams and clients.
