In this role, you will lead a team of 1-3 staff members and manage various structural engineering projects, ensuring timely completion.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
- Lead a team of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Drafters to project success
- Motivate and utilize team skills to complete projects efficiently
- Produce accurate structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details in a timely manner
- Review project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and other contract documents
- Ensure projects meet deliverable deadlines and stay within budget
- Develop and maintain successful client relationships, striving for client satisfaction
- Contribute positively to the community through impactful project work
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structural or Civil engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California (Civil or Structural)
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering design
- Leadership and management experience
- Expertise in structural engineering calculations for residential, commercial, educational, and/or solar projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2015 or newer) 2D
- Working knowledge of Enercalc and RISA
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe
