POSITION: Structural Project Engineer
LOCATION: Springfield, MO

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are a Civil, Structural, and MEP engineering firm that goes beyond a typical consulting role. We become a partner with our clients by aligning with the goals, processes, and people at each organization. This role will have overall responsibility for the design and management of specific projects, including K-12 and higher education, healthcare, civic, government, historic preservation, and sports lighting projects in California.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to manage projects from design through construction.
Developing geometric layouts of structures and performing load calculations.
Designing and detailing of building structures
Preferred knowledge of Risa or Etabs.
Reviewing analysis and checking design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by other engineers.
Performing seismic analysis and design of building structures.
Ability to provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to less experienced engineers.
Ability to interact with architects and engineers of different disciplines.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Other general office processes and procedures and project activities
REQUIREMENTS
Wide range of building structure types including educational, industrial, commercial, and residential, preferably in a consulting engineering firm environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience working as a structural engineer. Professional licensure is preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong skills in structural analysis, design and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems for all types of buildings.
Ability to work in a team environment and have a diversified knowledge of technology, materials, equipment, design concepts, and construction techniques.
