Structural Estimator at Engineering Resource Group

Description

• Permanent position for an Engineer for Structural Estimation for construction projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors,and vendors for estimation projects.
• Prepare accurate bid estimates with the efficient use of labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocol in the development of estimates and proposals.
• Ensure bid deadlines and customer presentation requirements are met.
• Travel to job sites as required to confirm project site conditions, and to assist field personnel in developing and / or recommending change orders to scope as needed.

Requirements

• BS Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management
• Minimum 3 years of experience with construction and structural estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and specifications.
• Ability to conceptualize, budget, lump sum, and unit pricing on estimations.
• Working knowledge of construction and relevant industry practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
