Are you passionate about creating innovative structural designs that stand the test of time and elements? We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a broad range of high-profile projects, from residential and commercial buildings to infrastructure and industrial structures. You will be working in a collaborative environment where your ideas and expertise are valued. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a keen eye for detail and the ability to solve complex structural challenges.
Responsibilities
As a Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Designing, planning and overseeing the construction of new buildings, or alterations and extensions to existing properties or other structures.
2. Conducting structural analysis and calculations to ensure the structural integrity of designs.
3. Utilizing Revit for creating detailed structural designs and models.
4. Coordinating with architects, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Preparing reports, designs, and drawings, and presenting them to clients and stakeholders.
6. Ensuring all designs and projects comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
7. Implementing seismic design principles in projects located in earthquake-prone areas.
8. Conducting site visits to monitor the progress of projects and make sure construction aligns with design specifications.
9. Managing construction contracts and supervising construction processes.
10. Applying expert knowledge of steel design principles in the creation of robust structures.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Structural Engineering.
3. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
4. Proven experience with Structural Engineering software, such as Revit.
5. Extensive knowledge and experience in construction management.
6. Proficiency in structural analysis, seismic design, and steel design.
7. Excellent communication and project management skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
10. Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current industry trends and regulations.
