Selectek is seeking veteran Structural Engineers to join a partnering company near Sandy Springs, Georgia. This firm specializes in industrial bulk material handling, so candidates must have experience working with heavy industrial projects and machinery for this role.
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Expected Pay Range: $38.00-$45.00 per hour before conversion, depending on experience

Job Requirements:
- 8+ years of engineering experience with industrial plate weldments or moving structures like cranes, off-shore rigs, or stacker/reclaimers
- PE in hand or near completion
- Proficiency with AutoCAD systems
- Knowledge of RAM Elements or STAAD analysis software
- Ideal candidates have experience with FEM Standards
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Duties: Candidates will be performing 3D structural modeling using structural analysis software for bulk material handling equipment. There will be a mixture of structural and mechanical design work in this role due to the diversity of this firms projects. Knowledge of plate weldments and hollow structures/tubing design will be critical to success in this role, as well as experience working with heavy industrial machinery.
