Structural Engineer - Residential - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is partnering with a company near Marietta, Georgia to add a Structural Engineer to their staff. This up and coming firm specializes in structural engineering for smaller-scale projects, so candidates need to have experience working in residential or commercial fields.

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Marietta, Georgia
Expected Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annual

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- PE or EIT license  
- 2-3 years of experience in structural engineering field, preferably residential
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Enercalc software
- Ideal candidates have experience with wood, steel, masonry and concrete projects

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:
- Provide structural designs, analysis, and consulting services
- Create designs for single- and multi-family residences, as well as some light commercial projects
- Work with new construction and remodeling projects
- Primarily wood, steel, concrete and masonry projects
- Interact directly with clients, mainly architects and builders
- Travel to job sites for short visits, mostly around the Atlanta area
