Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is partnering with a company near Portland, Oregon to find an experienced Structural Engineer. This firm specializes in engineering for large-scale industrial projects, so candidates need to have experience working with larger concrete and steel structures.

Employment Type: Temp to Direct
Location: Portland, OR
Expected Pay Range: $49.00-$68.00 per hour before conversion.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural Focus.
- PE license in Oregon
- 10+ years of experience in structural design
- Proficiency with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Experience with building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
- Ideal candidates have experience in industrial facility design

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:
- Perform significant portions of structural analysis and design
- Create designs for new structures in industrial settings
- Perform engineering studies and calculations for analysis models as required
- Develop bid packages and obtain quotes for engineering, equipment, materials and services
- Provide field engineering support during installation
- Work with minimal oversight and/or supervision
- Collaborate with new and existing clients to determine project scope, develop estimates, and create timelines for project completion
