Structural Engineer - Entegee

Summary: Seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support the design of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures in our Oakland office, with a focus on multi-material proficiency and adherence to US design standards.

Job Requirements:

• CA PE license

• Four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field

• 3-5 years of experience in structural design of buildings or similar structures

• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, RISA, ETABS

Preferred Skills:

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)

• Design experience with various materials including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light gauge

• Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC) and US design standards

• Experience as a project manager

• Experience working as part of a multi-discipline team

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and analysis of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures

• Utilize various computer software programs and analysis systems for structural design

• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards

• Coordinate with multiple disciplines within the project team

• Manage and deliver project components within scope, time, and budget constraints

• Document and report on project progress and technical findings

Pay: 40-50
