Structural Engineer - Material Handling - Resource Erectors

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Product Design & Development: Lead the design and development of equipment for bulk material and minerals processing.
• Custom Structures: Design and detail custom stationary structures tailored to specific needs.
• Design Analysis: Conduct thorough design analysis to ensure structural integrity and safety.
• Detailed Drawings: Create precise detail drawings for manufacturing and construction.
• Bills of Material: Complete and manage bills of material for various projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and implement design changes to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Versatile Tasks: Tackle other duties as assigned, contributing to a dynamic work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related education.
• Professional Engineering License not required but encouraged.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design.
• Thorough understanding of:
• Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances
• Strengths of materials and structural analysis
• AISC steel design code
• Training and/or experience in using 2D or 3D CAD software
