Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Lithia Springs, GA

Are you a talented and driven Structural Engineer seeking a new challenge and the opportunity to contribute to innovative and complex projects?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in the design and analysis of a wide range of structural systems, including steel, concrete, curtain wall, and metal framing.

About the Role:

• Design & Analysis: You will be responsible for reviewing designs, conducting load analysis calculations using software such as STAAD and RISA, and evaluating design calculations for stress and deflection.
• Project Collaboration: You will work closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and Architects to resolve complex design issues and ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Technical Expertise: You will review shop drawings, compare them to contract drawings for accuracy, and work with our in-house shop to address any design challenges.
• Innovation & Development: You will contribute to the development and testing of new design solutions to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Mentorship: You will mentor and guide junior engineers (EITs) on staff, fostering their professional development.

Who You Are:

• Highly Qualified: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• Experienced Professional: You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience in structural design, with a strong background in steel, concrete, curtain wall, or metal framing.
• Technically Proficient: You are proficient in STAAD and RISA software, and have experience with AutoCAD.
• A Strong Communicator: You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A Problem-Solver: You are a highly analytical and problem-solving individual with the ability to effectively address design challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Knowledge of current ASCE 7, AISC Steel Manual, Aluminum Design Manual, and International Building Code (IBC).
• Experience with canopy systems.

Additional Info:

• Term: This is a temp to perm opportunity where you will be converted after 6 months.
• Pay Rate: $38.00 - $48.00 depending on prior experience
