Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

I have a client located near Mableton, GA that has an immediate need for a Structural Engineer that has their EIT or will be taking the FE exam soon.

Our client specializes in the engineering and design of aluminum covers, canopies, and wall panels. The Engineer will start out working under a more Senior Engineer and help with the specialized designs for clients.

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
• 2 plus years work experience as a Structural Engineer
• AutoCAD

Preferred:

• Experience with Aluminum Projects or Glass Industry
• Ideally looking for someone in the range of 2-5 years of experience
• EIT or taking the FE exam soon

Job Order Details:
The Engineer will start out working under a more SR. Engineer and help with the design of aluminum canopies. The focus of the role will be to design the connections for these canopy’s They will be required to design the loads and review fabrication drawings. Part of the role will be to resolve issues that come up from their field teams once instillation begins and help the fabrication detailers make adjustments when necessary to help make their products fit to their client’s needs. Additional duties will include performing wind loads and designing footings.

Pay:

$28-33/hr. (some flexibility depending on experience)
