Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

We have a Structural Engineer opportunity available in the Lawrenceville, GA area. The projects typically include Hospitality, Education, and other commercial projects. The role will be responsible for performing the engineering and design aspects of the project. These project responsibilities will include performing the Construction Administration portion of the work that will include reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFI’s, and fielding questions regarding design drawings.

Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Hourly Pay Rate: $32 - $40

Term: 6-Month Contract to Direct Hire

Hours/Shift: (9am – 4:30pm are core hours w/ flex around those hours) M-F

Required:

• BS in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures
• 5 plus years of experience engineering and designing hospitality, educational, and commercial structures. Experience should include Steel, concrete, masonry design codes, and basic wood design knowledge.
• Auto CAD Proficiency

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in civil engineering
• Mid- or High-rise building experience is highly preferred.
• RAM Structural System
• Highly prefer experience with Hotels
• PE
• Post-tension design experience
• Revit
