Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

We have an opportunity with a leading design firm for a Structural Engineer that will be responsible for all phases of project work from inception through construction. Typical projects include Hospitality, Educational and other commercial projects.  Candidates should have a background with mid- or high-rise buildings.
The engineer will work with in house Architects and other engineering disciplines to develop contract documents. The role will be responsible for performing the engineering and design aspects of the project. This will include performing the Construction Administration portion of the work that will include reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFI’s, and fielding questions regarding design drawings.
Candidates must be proficient with RAM Structural, RAM concept enercalc, and AutoCAD
Required:

• BS in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures
• 5 plus years’ experience engineering and designing hospitality, educational, and commercial structures. Mid- or High-rise buildings. Experience should include Steel, concrete and masonry design codes, basic wood design knowledge. Design of foundation systems both shallow and deep foundations (Piles, drilled piers) is also required
• Auto CAD Proficiency
• RAM Structural System

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in civil engineering
• Highly prefer experience with Hotels
• PE
• Post tension design experience
• Revit
