Structural Engineer III - PTS Advance

We are looking for a civil/structural engineering III candidate that specializes in retail, commercial, industrial, residential and governmental buildings.  You would be working with wood, masonry, steel and concrete.  

Job duties: 

• Supports project delivery to the satisfaction of our clients
• Performs projects strategically and aggressively so that projects and tasks are successfully completed in a logical and timely manner
• Performs a variety of engineering tasks as required by management and our clients
• Prepares accurate and quality work products
• Takes ownership of projects including being responsible for plans, calculations, and specifications that he/she has prepared
• Provides excellent client service by constantly demonstrating responsiveness and service orientation to our customer's needs. Always communicates effectively with customers, staff, project team members, and public agencies on all issues.
• Takes steps in professional development with being able to take on more complex work with less assistance
• Progressing towards getting professionally licensed with passing the PE exam within 1 year of being hired

Required qualifications:  

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (Civil Engineering preferred)
• Experience: 5+ years of Structural Engineering design
• Computer Skills: MS Office, Structural Analysis
• Certifications: Engineer in Training
• Communication: Strong written and speaking skills (required)

Salary: $80,000-$105,000 DOE
