Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA

Are you an experienced Structural Engineer ready to make an immediate impact? Based in Alpharetta, GA, this role offers the chance to work on challenging heavy industrial structural design projects while leading a team to deliver high-quality results.

About the Role:

• Design heavy industrial structures, including concrete foundations, steel structures, and buildings.
• Perform complex analyses, calculations, and structural assessments/inspections.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, reports, and contract documentation.
• Review designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise and coordinate team activities to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while fostering a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Who You Are:

• A Civil Engineering graduate with 5–7 years of experience in heavy industrial structural design, ideally in a consulting environment.
• EIT certified or registered as a Professional Engineer.
• Technically proficient with exceptional attention to detail and strong knowledge of US steel design codes (familiarity with Canadian codes is a plus).
• Skilled in seismic design and experienced in shallow/deep foundation design for industrial structures and heavy equipment.
• Preferably experienced in the Pulp & Paper and Chemical Manufacturing industries.
• Proficient with RISA 3D (preferred) and a strong communicator with proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

• This is a temp to perm opportunity.
• Pay Range - $60.00 - $72.00 per hour based on prior experience.
