Job DescriptionYou'll be empowered to take on a range of responsibilities, including:
- Collaborating with a talented team of professionals to deliver cost-effective designs and innovative structural solutions for a wide array of building types and projects, ranging from new constructions to renovations and seismic evaluations.
- Showcasing your expertise by undertaking structural assessments, spanning various industries such as healthcare, commercial, and housing, and contributing to the development of impactful and sustainable design solutions.
- Utilizing your keen analytical skills and technical prowess to provide valuable input and recommendations regarding structural design and engineering challenges, ensuring the successful realization of our clients' vision and objectives.
- Engaging with cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices to continuously elevate the quality of our work, staying ahead of the curve and setting new standards for excellence in structural engineering.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
- Occasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.
- Traveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- PE or the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Missouri.
- A minimum of six years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects and demonstrating exceptional technical acumen.
- Proficiency in utilizing industry-standard software and tools for structural analysis and design, coupled with a deep understanding of engineering principles and best practices.
- A proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, alongside exemplary problem-solving and critical thinking skills to overcome complex engineering challenges.
- A passion for innovation and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, excellence, and client satisfaction, while thriving in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
