Job Title: Struct & Payload Design Engr 3

Location: Everett, WA

Duration: 12+ months contract

Job Description:

· Seeking candidates with experience in any of the following areas:

· Engineering support and project leadership within a production system.

· Direct engagement working with/for aerospace suppliers or airlines.

· Validating/demonstrating compliance to regulatory requirements.

· Working with regulators.

· Design for manufacturing.

· Aircraft cargo compartment and handling system design, integration, and/or certification.

Responsibilities:

· Develops, integrates and documents interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.

· Performs or oversees approval of analyses and test/inspection results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

· Manages supplier performance, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.

· Develops new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.

· Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

· Develops, maintains and modifies interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.

Experience:

· 5+ years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience

· Experience leading a cross-functional team

Education:

· Bachelor of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering
