Job Title: Stress Analysis EngineerLocation: Fort Worth, TX - Hybrid Zip Code: 76137Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Contract Pay Rate: $75.00 - $110.00/hr DoE Keywords: #StressAnalysisEngineer #EngineeringJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Responsible for the structural integrity of the Blades, Rotors, and Transmission/Drive Systems on the next generation of vertical lift aircraft. * Typical tasks include performing conceptual/preliminary/detailed structural analysis using classical methods and finite element software* Calculate Margin of Safety and conduct fatigue analysis to determine component retirement time of metallic and composite structures* Conduct modal/buckling/crack propagation/thermal analysis* Collaborate with Design, Materials & Process, and Test Engineers, and create structural substantiation reports to support drawing release and certification efforts.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Must be a US Citizen* Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field.* 5+ years of experience in structural analysis.* Proficient with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.* Able to work full time on site at Fort Worth, TX facility.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * 9+ years of experience in helicopter dynamic components structural analysis.* Proficient with ANSYS FEA & CFD analytical tools.* Experience with CATIA V5, 3DX design tools.* Experience with manufacturing aluminum, titanium and steel parts.* Able to create tools to streamline complex engineering tasks (VB Macros, Python, Matlab, etc.).* Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.Benefits: * Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision / glasses / prescription contact lens and eye test options available. * On the job training / cross-training to develop and expand skills, creating opportunity for advancement and personal development.
