Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales strategy, sales operations, business strategy, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s or a graduate degree.
- Experience managing and delivering project components with limited guidance.
- Experience influencing Executive stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Ability to identify and solve problems within a given project scope.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to distill insights from complex data and present actionable recommendations.

In this role, you will help to develop and drive execution of partnership strategies for our products and programs with the news industry.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive complex, cross-functional projects with ownership of select initiatives, partnering with stakeholders across multiple Google product areas to achieve sales and partnership goals.
- Provide critical analysis and data-driven recommendations to executive leaders on high-priority topics, such as partnership and go-to-market strategies, identify the opportunities for growth and resolve operational inefficiencies.
- Provide day-to-day strategy and operations support to executive leaders in the Global Partnerships organization (e.g., Directors and Vice Presidents), develop clear, simple, and persuasive communications to influence decision-making.
- Solve complex problems with multiple potential solutions, apply a wide range of tools and approaches to develop optimal outcomes. Demonstrate the ability to resolve ambiguous situations with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and demonstrate knowledge of market, product, organizational, and cross-functional nuances, leverage this expertise to contribute to strategic initiatives and recommend improvements.
