Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical, quantitative, or business field.
Experience with policy, risk, or compliance.
Knowledge in Ads products or business.
Ability to understand technical teams and maintain attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to facilitate complex meetings with executives and partners.

The Global Business Strategy and Operations (GBS&O) team provides insightful review, perspective and direction on the strategy and operating performance of Google’s global ads businesses. The function comprises critical teams that accelerate Google’s performance including Go-to-Market strategy and analytics, operational efficiency and productivity, Chief of Staff team that supports Google’s Chief Business Officer and Ads Policy Risk and Compliance operations.

In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives that impact Google’s efforts to maintain and grow a healthy digital ads ecosystem. You will join the Strategy and Operations team, which is focused on designing and executing projects that keep users safe, and also unlock new avenues for safe and sustainable growth. You will own projects, collaborate with Sales, Policy, Legal, Product, Engineering and Support teams, and drive execution of mission critical initiatives for the ads business globally. You will solve ambiguous business problems, bringing structure to complex issues, and move seamlessly and efficiently from ideas to action. You will work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate leadership with limited oversight.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Assess and identify emergent business opportunities, by gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses, and developing final recommendations.
Build strategic and operational initiatives by developing work plans, aligning on key milestones and success metrics, and ensuring projects are implemented efficiently.
Collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners to manage and scale solutions that impact the business.
Communicate findings and results to senior leadership with presentations.
