About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field (i.e., Business, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Technical).
- 2 years of experience in people management.
- Experience with structuring strategic analysis and messaging using spreadsheets and presentations.
- Experience implementing strategic and large scale initiatives projects in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.
- Experience working with different team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.

In this role, you will lead strategy development and execution with senior leadership for gTech Users & Product (gUP), which is responsible for providing customer care and technical support for nearly all Google products. You will have an opportunity to shape how Google launches products, how we provide support, how we drive efficiencies across a global operations team, develop scalable processes, onboard new partners, resolve top user issues, and how we provide technical implementation services to some of Google's most strategic partners.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach a team of strategy consultants and program managers.
- Act as a strategic partner to the business supporting the leadership on service transformations, operational excellence, organizational initiatives and helping chart out and fulfill big bets for the business in line with the leadership’s strategic outlook.
- Define, launch and drive strategic and analytical initiatives to directly and indirectly improve customer experience, improve internal and external facing processes and operations, working closely with cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Problem solve with senior leaders to deliver strategic insights and recommendations based on business analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in annual business planning, headcount management, key organizational metrics, and other operationally strategic projects.
