HYBRID ONSITE ROLE IN NASHVILLE, TN
MUST HAVE AD AGENCY BACKGROUND
Responsibilities:
- Be the primary, day-to-day contact for all matters of strategy and planning, including brand strategy, communications planning and content/experiential strategy on assigned brands
- Take the leadership role in discovering and articulating differentiating consumer, brand, product, competitor, cultural, and channel insights and translating them into strategic and creative platforms
- Active contributor to insight discovery sessions and eager to help other strategist develop thinking, debate, explore, and discover powerful truths
- Develops briefs that inspire the agency to create big ideas rooted in strategy and insights; keep pushing our briefing process to be the catalyst to great ideas
- Lead the development of brand strategy work including core positioning, promise, foundational elements, architecture and associated impact on vocabulary, visuals, packaging, and product or service innovation
- Partner with Brand Management team members and creative team to bring strategic, communications, and content/experiential recommendations to life for clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree welcomed
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience in strategic planning for a branding firm, advertising agency or other creatively minded agency
- Deep understanding of customer segmentation, targeting, positioning, customer journey and customer experience
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills; ability to identify research needs and participate in development and interpretation of research product
- Understanding of brand management, creative, media planning, and operational agency processes
- Ability to effectively partner with end clients, and agency teams across disciplines
