Job Overview
The Strategic Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through the identification and acquisition of new business opportunities, as well as expanding relationships with existing clients. This role is focused on developing and executing sales strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals, identifying key markets, and building partnerships with high-value clients. The Strategic Sales Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to deliver customized solutions that meet clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
-Experience selling into C-suite and working with large, complex mega deal opportunities driving to closure.
-Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and target new business opportunities within key markets, industries, and segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their business challenges and present solutions.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring both profitability and alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of the company's offerings, industry developments, and sales best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- 5+ years of proven success in a strategic sales or business development role.
- Strong understanding of strategic sales methodologies and consultative selling techniques.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with high-value clients and manage complex sales cycles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to offer creative solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
