Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will provide leadership in clinical practice, act a clinical resource to nurses, physicians and members of the interdisciplinary team providing care to the identified patient population
• You will perform activities related to chart abstraction, data collection, and data submission to ensure adequate and timely management of clinical information
• You will develop, evaluate and revise data collection processes to maximize productivity, as well as collaborating with ICE to ensure data collected is integrated into overall quality plan for organization
• You will be responsible for identifying areas for streamlining and process improvement in the data collection process
• You will be responsible for leading the hospital portion of appropriate accreditation, community outreach and assist with the Center of Excellence Steering Committee
• You will plan, develop, and implement teaching resources and tools for the staff, patient, and family education

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: BSN in Nursing required
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
• Preferred certifications: CPHQ, CPPS
• Minimum of three years experience required
