Nisga’a MOSTT’s services include aviation and military training, cybersecurity, intelligence gathering and analysis, and simulation and exercise support, as well as aviation flight logistics support and unmanned aerial vehicle support.
Summary:
TheStrategic Policy and Plans Advisor – WMD Programswill support all aspects of the Joint Operational Planning Process to include: Mission Analysis, COA Development, COA Analysis (Wargaming), COA Comparison and Decision.
Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions:
- Supporting Plans and Order Development: Analyze COA decision, missionstatement, commander’s intent, and guidance to develop plans and/or orders that directsubordinate actions.
- Acting as subject matter expert support to USCENTCOM for USSOCOM-ledplanning efforts, to include CWMD and WMD-Terrorism (WMD-T) plans, deterrence planning,and Global Counter Terrorism (CT) with WMD-T planning efforts. Support the development,coordination, and analysis of CWMD and CWMD-T plans assessments with the Joint Staff,Office of the Secretary of Defense, other Combatant Commands, and relevant interagency andother government agencies as required. Participates in the CWMD and CWMD-T community ofinterest, making recommendations to improve CWMD and CWMD-T plans, policies, andstrategies. Experience in Special Operations activities and CT is preferred.
- Supporting the development of overall joint system concepts, designs, and technicalapproaches to meet broadly stated requirements and objectives. The contractor must conducttop-level systems analysis, perform trade studies, perform technical optimizations, and develophigh- level designs. Planner must staff, prepare complex operations or technical documentation,conduct reviews, and deliver presentations all pertaining to WMD.
- Providing coordination of FOIAs and MDRs according to legal standards set by thevarious laws governing the processing, declassification, and release of information fromdesignated USCENTCOM files. This includes thorough searching of files controlled by CCJ5 forinformation relevant for government personnel to determine declassification and ability todisseminate information based on a detailed knowledge of existing legal statutes, currentUSCENTCOM information strategies and advising CCJ5 on the FOIA and MDR Program inaccordance with USCENTCOM directives to ensure plans and orders are properly safeguarded.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong ability to conceptualize, design, and drive long-term strategic initiatives.
- Proficiency in aligning policy recommendations with organizational goals and market trends.
- Expertise in analyzing, interpreting, and advising on complex policy issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A graduate of the JointCountering Weapons of Mass Destruction Planning Course (JCPC), CWMD Senior StaffPlanners course, or equivalent program; (2) has at least 5 years of WMD related planningexperience; and (3) has a minimum of 3 year of experience at the Geographic or FunctionalCombatant Command Headquarters or Service Component headquarters that directly supportsa Geographic Combatant Command.
- Shall be prepared and eligible to travel, to include OCONUS, CONUS,and must be able to obtain an official passport.
