Job Purpose/Objective:

Responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive demand plan that integrates all activities required to successfully execute operations across all facilities. You will play a critical role in interpreting customer forecasts, managing overall capacity, allotting demand by site, and acting as the liaison between the manufacturing facilities and the account management team to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the product lifecycle. The objective of this position is to provide focus and integration of data from manufacturing and sales to produce accurate and timely forecasts that can be used for operations and logistics.

• Develop and manage an integrated master plan for the overall capacity and demand, considering dependencies, constraints, and resource availability.
• Collaborate with project managers, department heads, facilities and stakeholders to understand production requirements, both current and future.
• Identify and assess risks, issues, and conflicts that may impact the schedule, and develop mitigation plans.
• Regularly update and maintain the master schedule by incorporating changes, updates, and adjustments as necessary.
• Monitor production progress and identify any deviations from the overall schedule, taking proactive measures to address future capacity constraints.
• Assign capacity to each facility to meet customer demand and optimize line time.
• Conduct regular meetings and discussions with account managers to review and analyze customer demand, projections, and performance, while identifying bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
• Achieves consensus for operational capacity model provided by each facility to facilitate a collaborative planning process with sales and finance personnel
• Continuously improve scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy including but not limited to MRP and product files. Track and report monthly forecast accuracy as well as other operational reports.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices for schedule management and adherence.
• Collaborate with procurement and resource management teams to ensure alignment between the schedule and resource allocation.
• Act as the liaison between corporate account managers and facility supply chain team members to provide timely production updates.
• Assists in developing the Annual Budget by incorporating assumptions from Finance into the current demand forecast

Professional Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify critical paths, analyze complex data, and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in software such as SAGE, WMS, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional organization and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in maintaining and updating capacity.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve project goals
