Strategic Growth Planning
- Formulate the strategic growth plan in the Adv. Materials & Chemicals segment based on strong market knowledge, emerging industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Lead Voice-of-Customer (VOC) interviews and synthesize actionable insights feeding into research and product roadmap, and marketing campaigns
- Perform macro market assessments across all key regional markets, quantify current and future market size, and estimate growth rates
- Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to establish and maintain scientific thought leadership
- Identify potential commercial relationships and business development opportunities to support revenue growth strategy
New Product Development
- Prioritize and clearly articulate customer needs to initiate research/ development projects in collaboration with Research and Product Management teams
- Assess opportunity (TAM, SAM, SOM) for new research/ product development projects based on market trends, VOC, and competitive landscape
- Support the Research and Product Management teams in validating the market opportunity and determining customer requirements for new projects
Marketing Leadership
- Develop the TA Instruments marketing campaign strategy in the Adv. Materials & Chemicals segment in close partnership with the Marketing team
- Collaborate with Global and Regional Applications teams to develop/ update collateral required to support the marketing strategy
- Support the Product Management and Marketing teams to ensure successful commercialization of new product releases and marketing campaigns
- Support the Sales teams in business planning and key account customer engagement
- Minimum BS in Technology or Business field. MBA, Ph.D. or other advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering / Materials Science
- 5+ years of successful experience in an Adv. Materials & Chemicals environment
- Prior experience with thermal analysis, rheology, or related analytical equipment is desirable
- Strategy development experience in Adv. Materials & Chemicals industry or related fields
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to execution
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to adjust strategies based on market and performance insights
- Ability to effectively influence at the executive level and within peer group
- Effective interpersonal, collaboration & networking skills
- Change management advocate
