WRA is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Manager to collaborate closely with senior management to lead and support initiatives aimed at improving business efficiency, operational performance, quality and the employee experience. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, often handling highly sensitive matters, working effectively across departments, and contributing to the organization's overall success.
This key role will directly support senior management in assessing, planning and implementing operational change and key initiatives, identifying and defining critical business needs across the company, managing and coordinating strategic projects, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and analyzing data to uncover opportunities for business process and employee work life experience improvements. Additionally, the role involves developing and communicating new processes, procedures, and changes across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide direct support to special project or initiatives assigned by senior management.
- Conduct research and analysis internally and externally.
- Develop implementation plans for strategic initiatives.
- Ensure efficient and effective communication to all stakeholders.
- Lead, manage and coordinate implementation and completion of approved initiatives.
- Prepare reports on organizational or project-based performance to inform strategic decision-making or measure results.
Example Initiatives:
- Research and develop new or changing company policies or employee benefits.
- Review procedures, rules, and regulations to assess support of company goals and standards in our work practices and in our facilities.
- Assess business operational processes and identify efficiency improvements.
- Analyze workflows and tools to determine if they can be streamlined and improved through workflow change or automation.
- Identify and recommend technology solutions and workflows that better support the needs of clients and employees.
- Review and report on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.
- Assess the employee work life experience to recommend enhancements.
Necessary Skills:
- Leadership, management and coordination of various teams from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivered on time.
- Communication through presentations, reports, written narrative and graphics that clearly convey an initiative’s purpose and objectives, and reporting on status and impact of initiatives.
- Relationship builder to facilitate communication and team success.
- Liaison and collaborator with senior leadership, department heads, and external partners to advance company priorities.
- Complete confidentiality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- 11 - 15 years of experience in strategic planning, project management, or related roles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience guiding cross-functional teams through the various stages of strategy building and refinement, leading creative ideation from discovery and insights to final concepts.
- Strong executive presence, comfortable collaborating with individuals at all levels in the organization
- Exceptional skill in written and oral communications
- Open to travel as necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate plainly and directly - with empathy and insight.
- Unimpeded by challenges and able to provide dynamic solutions.

The expected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
