We are seeking a Communications Specialist-Expert / Strategic Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector.
Role Overview
The Communications Specialist-Expert / Strategic Communications Specialist will work closely with the Front Office to support the advancement and strategic direction of the organization. This role focuses on translating operational requirements into strategic initiatives while supporting critical programmatic workflows and documentation efforts.
Primary Duties
- Translate operational requirements into strategic direction.
- Validate, document, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Support documentation reviews and coordination.
- Develop and refine programmatic workflows.
- Support milestone readiness and program portfolio planning.
- Perform requirements tracking and framework development for mission efficiency and effectiveness.
- Capture and integrate data into presentations for compliance review board briefings.
- Provide seamless support for Front Office systems and processes.
- Organize and support planning for meetings, including drafting agendas and documenting key decisions.
- Collect and assemble input for recurring senior leadership meetings.
- Plan and execute customer events such as quarterly all-hands meetings, offsites, and technical exchange meetings.
- Execute other ad hoc tasks as required.
- Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- BA/BS and 8+ years of experience or Master's degree and 6+ years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven ability to support senior customer managers in strategy development and production of briefing materials for senior leadership.
- Strong communication skills, including drafting emails, meeting notes, and ensuring information flow with stakeholders.
- Experience capturing and building strategic presentations and documentation.
- Familiarity with programmatic activities, such as tracking actions, documenting management decisions, and maintaining configuration management.
- Confluence, SharePoint, and Hive proficiency.
- Ability to support planning for customer events, including offsites and technical exchange meetings.
- Prior experience supporting senior-level management.
- Familiarity with the customer's organizational structure and mission.
- Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries to achieve mission objectives.
