Job Description:
Legend Brands is seeking a Strategic Communications and PR Professional l to help with our growing business. This position will create opportunities for departments to share their unique insights and expertise while acting as a bridge between leadership levels, ensuring that the vision and goals of the R2R Initiative are communicated and understood throughout the organization. This role will develop a growth strategy that includes clear goals and actionable steps that ensure that the R2R Program's objectives align with the broader organizational goals. Overall, the success of the Ready 2 Respond Initiative will depend on effective leadership, strategic planning, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Job Requirements:
- Establish clear lines of communication with all relevant departments involved in the R2R Initiative
- Foster a culture of collaboration and creativity by encouraging cross-functional brainstorming and problem-solving sessions
- Facilitate regular meetings or updates to keep leadership informed of progress and challenges
- Work with the team to develop comprehensive strategies that address the goals of the R2R Program
- Ensure that these strategies are consistent, effective, and align with the organization's overall mission
- Develop an internal communication plan to keep employees informed and engaged with the R2R Program
- Manage external communication and public relations efforts, including industry association relationships
- Highlight the program's successes and impact through press releases, newsletters, and industry conferences
- Identify opportunities for expanding the R2R Program, such as reaching new markets, partnering with additional organizations, or diversifying its offerings
- Simplify messaging to make it easily understandable and relatable for all stakeholders
- Create compelling presentations and reports to effectively communicate the program's objectives and accomplishments to leadership and stakeholders
- Use data and metrics to demonstrate the impact of the R2R Program
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the R2R Program
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address these challenges proactively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including internal departments, industry associations, and external partners
- Address concerns and feedback promptly to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and support
Qualifications:

Must have the ability to perform these functions and at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in these areas:
- Intermediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and graphics software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Lead in classroom situations
- Lead teams and projects to completion
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds
- Ability to communicate effectively and to train end users about processes and tasks while ensuring understanding and master
- Ability to organize classes, materials, and schedules for different groups at different places within a curriculum
- Ability to learn new information and process quickly to a level of understanding to train others
- Ability to work remotely using remote applications such as video conferencing, with the ability to travel as needed (over 50% travel required - some overnight travel)
Hiring Range:
Between $95,000 - $135,000 Annually
