Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Strategic Communications Associate for a 6-12 month + Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Develops and implements strategies and programs to communicate the company's business objectives, culture and values to its employees.
- Partners with executive management, Public Relations, Human Resources and other departments to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate strategic internal communications.
- Designs, edits and oversees distribution of internal communication materials via company newsletters, intranet, emails/memos, webcasts, employee meetings, etc.
- Develops standards and guidelines for style and content.
- Provides guidance to executive management regarding corporate announcements.
- Evaluates fit with target audience to ensure comprehension.
- Implements metrics to evaluate effectiveness of communication plan delivery.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field required
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with eye for detail (writing samples will be requested, knowledge of AP Style a plus).
- Experience working with Marketo is a plus
- 5+ years of overall relevant work experience.
- Excellent program/project management skills, and proven experience in marketing communications and coordination of creative content.
- Ability to coordinate efforts cross-functionally to achieve positive end results.
- Superior analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Demonstrate ability to self-motivate and independently take the initiative to solve problems.
