About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in developing and driving business, pricing strategy or financial analysis (e.g., Pricing, Product Management/Operations, Finance, Corporate Strategy, Business Planning) in tech environments.
- Experience working in a Public Cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS), or Collaboration and Productivity Software industry.
- Experience working with sales or Go-To-Market teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working with Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, cloud and digital transformations or US Public Sector.
- Ability to grow in changing, ambiguous environments and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with C-suite or executive leaders (e.g., internal and external, etc.) and excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft project proposals and white papers.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis and modeling, to translate findings into business recommendations.

The Cloud Agreement Pricing and business generation team is instrumental in shaping and executing Google Cloud Platform’s (GCP's) strategy to win cloud agreements at the right price and at scale.
In this role, you will have the primary responsibility of structuring agreements and Go-To-Market (GTM) constructs that meet customer needs, while driving Google Cloud Platform’s (GCP’s) business and profitability, and ensuring risk mitigation and operational feasibility. You will be central to cross-functional efforts (e.g., business, product, finance, business operations, etc.) that will see through these agreements from strategy to execution.
You will leverage your agrements experience and leadership to work with cross-functional teams and help drive business policy, product, business, GTM, and other strategic projects.
You will work on strategic transactions for Google Cloud, and will help accelerate Google's growth in the US public sector, a high-priority market for Google, in addition to structuring agreements for the commercial sector.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Shape and adapt pricing strategies and policies to address the unique needs of customers, spanning the United States (US) commercial and public sectors.
- Apply cloud to develop optimal agreements structures that help economics, mitigate risk, and help win agreements at the right price and at scale.
- Identify opportunities to expand Google Cloud's footprint, and continuously help DPM’s value dimensions, investigate and strategic thinking to address tests, and engage executive leadership to help drive decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to structure transactions, shape pricing policies and programs, and deliver strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a leader, guiding the team on pricing strategies and cloud best practices, contribute to building a team, demonstrate initiative and entrepreneurship, and embody Google's values.
