Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 per year

We are on the hunt for a dynamic, resourceful, and experienced Strategic Accounts Sales Manager. This role is critical in driving our business forward and maintaining our position as a leading player in our industry. The Strategic Account Sales Manager is tasked with developing and executing a strategic sales plan to expand the organization's national product portfolio within assigned Industrial Distribution Accounts across the U.S. This role includes motivating, training, and supporting Strategic Accounts to drive growth, while fostering strong relationships at corporate, regional, and local levels. Success is measured by achieving profitable sales growth within these Strategic Accounts.
The Strategic Accounts Sales Manager must have experience selling at a national level but is also a go-getter and someone who is looking to make a huge impact within this organization and grow in their career. This organization has been around for 100+ years and continues to hold a "gold standard" for their equipment within the market. This is a pivotal role for the organization and will be for the individual joining this team.
This position is remote but does require someone to live in close proximity to a large airport, as there is 50% domestic travel required for this role.

Responsibilities:
As a Strategic Accounts Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with our business goals.
2. Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
3. Negotiating and closing agreements with large customers.
4. Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and suggesting improvements.
5. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
6. Staying up-to-date with new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on board.
7. Working closely with the marketing department to identify new customers and to optimize sales techniques.
8. Using Salesforce to track customer interactions and sales projections.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a national sales role
2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
3. Strong experience in industrial distribution sales.
4. Experience in food and beverage industry is a plus.
5. Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM software.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
8. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
11. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.
