Strategic Account Manager Summary:
We are seeking a motivated self-starter for a remote position as a Strategic Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving net new sales into Strategic Accounts with annual revenues of $10 billion and above. These accounts represent our most strategic and sophisticated client relationships.
Based in a specific geographic area, you will have the opportunity to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned territory to visit customers, attend trade shows or field events, and participate in internal meetings such as sales kick-offs or quarterly business reviews. With our strong promote-from-within philosophy, successful performance in this role will provide career advancement opportunities to those seeking to elevate their sales careers.
What You'll Do:
Apply strong business acumen and our sales methodology to every customer engagement.
Achieve/exceed quota targets while cultivating satisfied and referenceable customers.
Effectively prospect to uncover sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
Lead complex sales cycles and present the value of our solutions to C-level executives.
Build and maintain relationships with influencers and decision-makers.
Quickly understand business challenges and develop tailored solutions.
Manage sales pipeline and ensure CRM accuracy.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop target strategies.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
Communicate progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
Forecast and track key account metrics.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
What You'll Bring:
10+ years of experience successfully selling ROI-driven, Enterprise-Wide SaaS/Subscription/Cloud Applications to C-level decision-makers.
Experience selling Professional Services as part of outcome-based solution selling.
Proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing complex sales cycles.
Ability to thrive selling as an individual while effectively communicating the technical and business value of our solutions.
Proficiency with sales automation applications and technologies.
Familiarity with sales process frameworks.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Bonus if You Have:
Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
Privileged Access Management or Identity Access Management experience.
Bachelor's Degree.
