- $100,000 - $120,000 USD salaried position

As the Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and customer relationships with Qantas Freight customers across the Americas region. Your role will focus on securing and strengthening strategic partnerships within your account portfolio, with an emphasis on driving increased market share and premium yield. As a key representative of our brand, you will develop and execute tailored relationship strategies for each account, enhancing customer satisfaction, elevating brand perception and achieving business outcomes.
You’ll have –
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results within a complex business environment with senior professional stakeholders
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales / business development role ideally within freight
- Strategic selling, account management, contract negotiation and business planning skills developed at a senior level in a competitive sales environment
- Strong commercial acumen
- Highly developed negotiation, communication, organisational and influencing skills at senior levels, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to offer unique perspectives on business issues, analyse data and information, and create customised solutions for customers
- Demonstrated ability to tailor sales messages to resonate with different types of customers
- Exceptional presentation skills, extensive knowledge and awareness of the airline and travel industry
- Good working knowledge of reporting and CRM systems
- Ability to travel as required
