Job Duties and Responsibilities:Boost Mobile is the only wireless carrier in the United States to offer postpaid wireless services through Amazon and is strategically positioned to challenge the industry status quo. Boost Mobile is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to manage and grow sales through this critical channel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in strategic account management, e-commerce, and sales strategy. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, optimizing account performance, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences through the Amazon platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon, managing the relationship to ensure alignment with Boost Mobile’s strategic goals and objectives
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for Boost Mobile services on Amazon. Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize product listings and pricing strategies
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales ops, marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and promotions
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management
- Promotions and Campaigns: Plan and execute promotional campaigns on Amazon to drive product visibility and sales. Coordinate with sales ops and marketing teams to develop compelling promos, content and advertising strategies
- Customer Experience: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and working with customer service teams to resolve escalations effectively
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with Amazon to secure favorable agreements that support Boost Mobile’s business objectives
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for growth
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic account management, with a focus on e-commerce and sales strategy
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of managing large accounts and achieving sales targets
- Strong understanding of Amazon’s sales platform and best practices
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in using sales analytics tools and CRM software
