POSITION SUMMARY
As a Strategic Account Manager at Softeon, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts, understanding their unique business needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our supply chain software solutions. Your primary objective will be to maximize customer retention and drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities, while ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Understand clients' business objectives and challenges, and effectively communicate how our supply chain software solutions can address their needs.
Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to optimize their warehouse operations.
Collaborate closely with the Product and Marketing teams to identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base.
Develop and execute account plans, including strategies for driving adoption and expansion of our software solutions.
Monitor customer usage and proactively identify potential risks or issues, taking appropriate actions to mitigate them.
Coordinate with internal teams, such as customer support, product development, and solution delivery, to ensure timely and successful resolution of customer inquiries, issues, and requests.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings to provide valuable insights and maintain a competitive edge.
Achieve assigned revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer retention and growth.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key/Strategic Account Manager, or similar role, preferably in the software or technology industry.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel for client or corporate meetings and industry events.

LOCATION
Preferred location is Atlanta, GA (Alpharetta, GA) area in order to take advantage of a hybrid office/remote work environment for collaboration and ongoing training. But, virtual candidates, with close proximity to major airport will be considered based on experience level and fit for role. Preference will be given to candidates residing in the following states: CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, MA, MD MN, MO, NJ, OH, OR, PA TN, TX, VA, WI.
