About the Job
The Services Development Representative will be responsible for proactively driving customer engagement via confirmed appointments, opportunity generation via 1st call qualification, and profitable growth by advancing services opportunities aligned with Strategic's focus partners and associated business. This position will be primarily focused on gathering detailed information on prospects to then proactively engage with customers to generate net new opportunities while developing and maintaining relevant technical acumen. The candidate will act as a resource and liaison between Stratascale Client Advisors and Enterprise Architects that align with their respective target accounts. The Services Development Representative will report to the Director, Partner Alliances and Enablement.
This position is in Charlotte, NC and required to report to the Stratascale Charlotte Office.
Responsibilities:Include, but are not limited to:
- Drive account growth for Stratascale by profiling, qualifying, and prospecting into new or underpenetrated accounts
- Cold calling, uncovering opportunities, and landing meetings
- Guiding client conversations to ensure proper actions/next-steps are required to solve business and technical challenges uncovered.
- Working knowledge of the core Stratascale services offerings and dependencies/pull through of associated cloud, security and infrastructure technology products
- Partner with Sales Leadership, Client Advisors, Enterprise Architects, Inside Sales and peers in the Strategic Segment for planning and increased services adoption
- Generate and drive pipeline by understanding customer need and positioning relevant Stratascale solutions and services
- Develop close relationships with SHI sellers, internal resources, and partner contacts
- Build campaigns with strategic partners for cosell opportuntiies
- Responsible for managing pipeline, customer success metrics and tracking to key results
- Stay educated on new services, technology, and program updates from focus partners
- Present at customer events and travel to market where appropriate
- A passion to hunt and develop new business through building new relationships
- Proven track record of driving results and exceeding expectations
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience in technology sales role, preferably a sales role focused around driving new business
- Well-rounded working job knowledge of hardware/software/licensing products

- Working knowledge of Dynamics CRM, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with key prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, Outreach, Alice, Vidyard, BoardRoom Insights, etc.
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
