What Your Day Will Look Like:
:As a Stormwater & Hydrology Senior Design Engineer, you'll plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. You'll devise new approaches to unique problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and company standards.This position requires thorough knowledge of stormwater drainage design and H&H modeling and analysis.
Salary Range $81,000-103,000 for candidates with a PE
What You'll Do:
:- Review project design and reports
- Perform H&H analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience
- Assist with project management and scheduling
- Prepare technical memorandums and reports
- Prepare construction plans and specifications
- Develop probable construction cost estimates for projects
- Observe construction and coordinate with contractors
- Coordinate work with other disciplines such as roadway, geotechnical, structures, etc
- Handle routine contract administration
What You'll Need:
:- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, from an accredited college/university
- Minimum four years experience in drainage and stormwater civil engineering
- Active PE License
- Experience with computer applications such as MicroStation, Civil 3D,ArcGIS Pro, HEC-RAS 2D, SRH2D, and/or SWMM applications
- Previous experience working on UDOT projects is a plus
