Description
BETA is seeking for an experienced Stormwater/Civil Project Manager to support our Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, Civil Site, and Water Resources Team of engineers in our Massachusetts offices. The position will interact with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the New England area and will provide leadership and client development specifically in water resources engineering, watershed planning, construction management, civil infrastructure design, and permitting. This team of professionals comes together to create innovated design solutions for our public-sector clients utilizing nature-based solutions to improve infrastructure, address water quality issues and mitigate for climate impacts such as flooding. Projects may include stormwater control retrofits, green infrastructure, land & water resource development & planning, stream and streambank restoration, wetland & buffer restoration, hydraulic & hydrologic modeling, drainage & stormwater studies, and stormwater management permitting including MS4 compliance programs.Responsibilities:
- Perform, manage, and oversee engineering projects on stormwater & water resources planning and design
- Technical design lead on concurrent projects
- Recommend solutions to engineering issues
- Manage multiple projects including scope, budget and schedules for detailed engineering planning, design, review and contract documents
- Continue project management through construction phases including construction oversight
- Provide responsive client service through strong and prompt communication
- Lead/Mentor young professionals
- Perform business development and manage project pursuits
- Collaborate across internal disciplines and office locations
- Properly scope, schedule and budget assignments/projects
- Continue to broaden technical skills within the chosen discipline
- Lead team, client and public meetings

Requirements
Skills Required:- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Professional Engineer certification required
- 10 to 15+ years of related engineering experience in water resources and/or stormwater projects
- Knowledge of and experience with the implementation of MS4 and other NPDES programs
- Demonstrated strong background in environmental engineering and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling with software programs
- Project Management experience
- Skilled in writing and ability to prepare formal reports
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Must be able to collect field data and measurements and perform asset inspections for water and wastewater infrastructure, in addition to roadway and other utility assets;
- Must be able to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to perform field work in both hot and cold weather (rain and/or snow)
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, HydroCAD and ArcGIS/Pro experience
- Soil Evaluator License

Salary Description
$107,000-$159,000 or commensurate
