About the Job
This position reports directly to the Same Day Delivery & Curbside Manager under the Technology Department. The Same Day Delivery & Curbside Assistant strives to support the Same Day Delivery and Curbside Pickup programs. The SDD & Curbside Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Same Day Delivery & Curbside Manager with various tasks related to SDD vehicles, stores, telematic platforms, and reporting. The role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operations of our delivery fleet and curbside pickup program, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal individual will have strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating regular maintenance and repairs for the delivery fleet vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service dates, receipts, and service types.
- Assist in monitoring vehicle recall and service campaigns to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
MVR & Vehicle Record Keeping:
- Manage and maintain Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) files for all delivery fleet drivers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the delivery fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, and licensing information.
Store Support & Online Order Monitoring:
- Assist in the review of both Curbside and Same Day Delivery orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the store associates and customer service team to resolve any issues or discrepancies in delivery instructions.
- Ensure all SDD surveys and complaint tickets raised by customers or the customer service team are handled by the Operations team with a timely manner.
- Address any online order concerns or issues raised by the store team promptly and efficiently.
- Provide assistance and support to store personnel regarding online order processes and procedures.
- Organize and manage all SDD related tickets and surveys on Zendesk
- Assist in the presentation and preparation of SDD & Curbside related training materials.
Telematics Support:
- Assist in the management and troubleshooting of telematics systems used in the delivery fleet.
- Monitor telematics data and address any technical issues or anomalies.
- Perform weekly (at minimum) reviews of all camera related violations within the Geotab platform and address with store and operations personnel.
Reporting on Driving Violations and Utilization:
- Generate regular reports on driving violations, such as speeding or traffic violations, and share them with the appropriate individuals.
- Review any violation dispute and update the telematics portal accordingly.
- Assist in obtaining and reviewing footage related to any driver behavior or vehicle incidents.
- Assist in maintaining all SDD & Curbside related forms, spreadsheets, and platforms.
Invoicing Support:
- Assist in the invoicing process by verifying delivery records, ensuring accurate billing, and resolving any discrepancies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- This position is a 45 - 50 hour per week position and will require some weekend and evening availability.
- Requires adeptness in customer interactions, a commitment to enhancing the customer experience, and a genuine desire to provide customer assistance.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills showcasing the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Great team-player, with the ability to also be effective independently.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Physically able to lift 40lbs repeatedly up to head height to stock shelves multiple times a day.
- Physically able to repeatedly lift and carry 40lbs up to 40 ft in distance multiple times a day.
- Physically able to continuously bend, kneel, push, pull, reach, and twist multiple times a day.
- Physically able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
- Physically able to climb ladders multiple times a day to put up and access product for customers.
