We are seeking a high-performing, dynamic Store Manager to lead our team at Waxberg's Walk Shoppe in Niles, IL. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of daily store operations, driving sales growth, and ensuring our customers receive the outstanding service for which Waxberg's is known. The manager needs to embody and uphold our corporate standards while leading the team and working with the corporate office to ensure a seamless internal culture that exudes onto the selling floor. Key Responsibilities:
- Upholding corporate culture and brand standards
- Manage the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, staff management, & corporate communication
- Lead and inspire a team to achieve sales goals, providing ongoing training and motivation to maximize every customer interaction.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service, ensuring all team members adhere to Waxberg's Core Values and Customer Service Standards.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, processing, and merchandising, to ensure accurate stock levels and appealing displays.
- Handle customer complaints with kindness and courtesy, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that displays, stockrooms, and sales floors are up to Waxberg's standards.
- Utilize the POS system effectively and ensure all team members are trained in its use.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of driving sales and delivering high levels of customer service.
- Shoe experience is a plus, but not required.
- Educational background in business, fashion merchandising, or hospitality is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
