About the Job
Job Purpose:
The Store Director must be able to comprehend, communicate, and implement corporate store strategy and action plans.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Forecasts, schedules, and monitor labor.
- Communicate sales goals, department performance and sales opportunities for department managers.
- Determines marketing and operating strategy changes by reviewing financial statements and departmental sales records with the Director of Operations and/or other corporate staff.
- Implement control processes including shrink, labor, and operating expenses, to achieve pre-determined performance objectives.
- Ensures all federal, state, local agency, company regulations and standards compliance for product freshness food safety, refrigeration, and sanitation.
- Ensures availability of merchandise and services by monitoring purchase orders and maintaining good inventory levels.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years in management capacity of personnel.
- Must have direct experience managing a P&L budget.
- Must have direct experience in managing a Bakery, Deli, Meat, Grocery, Produce and Frond End department.
- Capable to work occasional irregular hours.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the cyclical nature of the grocery industry, team members are required to work varying shifts and schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, which reflect the Company's operating requirements.
