As a Storage Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our storage facility. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment while ensuring efficient and smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a customer-centric approach.
Overview of responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
Facility Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the storage facility.
- Ensure the security and cleanliness of the facility.
- Monitor access control systems and security measures.
- Maintain accurate records of storage unit rentals and occupancies utilizing StoreEdge.
Leasing and Marketing:
- Manage the leasing process, including rental agreements, payments, and lease renewals.
- Promote and sell storage units to potential customers.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
Financial and Administrative Management:
- Assist in managing the facility budget.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the company's management software, StoreEdge.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage customer accounts.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the regional or corporate office as required.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Assist in coordination of maintenance and repairs to ensure the facility is in optimal condition.
- Schedule routine inspections and address any issues promptly.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures
Education and Training:
Highschool diploma or GED
Knowledge and Experience:
Highschool diploma or GED
Knowledge and Experience:
- 2 years experience working in Storage Facilitation required
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience in StorEdge Software a plus
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- Experience in sales
Skills and Abilities:
- Reliable transportation
