JOB SUMMARY
The Stockroom Supervisor is responsible for assigning and distributing work assignments inside the Stockroom to meet daily requirements or goals. The role will lead and guide the work and activities of Stockroom Clerks.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions(Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

- Supervise Stockroom staff and monitor their performance
- Responsible for the procurement of stockroom supplies, tools and equipment
- Supervise the inventory transactions and receiving operations of all materials going in and out of the Stockroom
- Resolve problems that arise in the normal course of the work
- Ensure that stockroom standard practices and procedures are followed
- Supervise the cycle count inventory for current and projected usage
- Maintain and generate reports for management tracking usage and measurement
- Assist personnel with difficult and unusual assignments that needs to be completed
- Encourage regular communication between staff and inform them of relevant issues that impact the organization
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics code
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent years of relative experience or proven mechanical aptitude may be considered in lieu of a diploma or GED
- Associate Degree and/or Trade/Technical School is desired
Experience:
- 1 – 3+ years of direct experience.
- Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates
- Experience working in a team
- Familiar shipping via FedEx, UPS, and DHL
- Forklift experience
Skills:
- Cycle Counting
- Material Handling
- Scrapping
- Issuing components to workorders/ jobs
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 1–3+ years' experience leading a team of 5+
- 1–3+ years’ warehouse experience
Other:
- Extended or irregular hours may be required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Direction is provided for assignments in terms of desired outcome (goals), timing and budget. Work is reviewed or measured in terms of meeting organizational objectives and schedules.

- Manage team for adherence to organizational goals, operating policies, and budgetary guidelines.
- Manage team performance and is responsible for training and coaching.

Develop and provide solutions to complex problems based on established precedents and are consistent with organization objectives.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and writing
