CornerStone Staffing is currently recruiting for the following position:
Job Title: Stockroom/Inventory Manager
Location: Richardson, TX
Pay: $60,000-$70,000 per year, BOE
Schedule: Mon - Fri 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with occasional weekends as needed
Summary
The Stockroom/Inventory Manager oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the stockroom to ensure efficient inventory control, accuracy, and timely support for internal and external customers. This role involves leading a team, maintaining operational standards, and supporting the organization by ensuring materials are readily available for smooth operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and manage stockroom clerks, ensuring accurate pulling, counting, and verification of parts for in-house and outgoing kits.
Oversee the release of First Issues for in-house and outgoing kits.
Coordinate the movement and transportation of materials or supplies to various departments.
Ensure proper maintenance of overstock cards and accurate processing of Material Issues.
Manage the cycle count process, including running reports, counting parts, and recording data to ensure inventory accuracy.
Support receiving operations by assisting with incoming stock and providing backup when the Receiving Clerk is unavailable.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, implementing adjustments and preventative measures as needed.
Establish and enforce cleaning and organizational standards for the stockroom.
Develop and train team members on inventory best practices, including FIFO, warehouse organization, and part number management.
Collaborate with other departments to meet operational and production goals.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Extensive experience with electronic components and inventory management.
Proven supervisory or management experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; further education is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and data entry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team effectively.
In-depth understanding of inventory management principles, including FIFO and warehouse organization.
