Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a temporary Stock Plan Administrator while one of our team members is on a leave. Looking for an experienced Stock Plan Administrator who has project manage a forward stock split, strong knowledge and usage of Equity Edge Online, familiarity with Merrill Lynch a plus, assist with China SAFE reporting/filing. account reconciliations, SEC reporting and expertise in Microsoft Excel. You will ensure seamless administration of Supermicro's global equity plan and will work cross functionally to maintain stock related systems and processes. We're looking for someone with excellent problem solving and communication skills who will be a proactive resource for plan participants at all levels of the organization. The Stock Plan Administrator will report to the Senior Manager of Stock Plan Administration. This includes, administering all aspects of the company's equity plan for employees across the globe (including grants, exercises, forfeitures, etc.) and ensuring that all transactions are correctly and accurately processed in a timely manner, partnering closely with internal teams, including Finance, Payroll, Legal, Tax, Auditing, and HR to ensure seamless administration and compliance and providing a high level of customer service in responding to employee and management inquiries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Administer the company's equity programs including equity grants, option exercises, broker transactions, cancellations and withholding tax calculations
• Project manage the Company's forward stock split
• Maintain employee stock database for equity grants, option exercises, and cancellations
• Answer employee questions and resolve problems regarding equity programs
• Act as a liaison between employees and brokers
• Process stock transactions for global workforce
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, analysis, and journal entries
• Support quarterly and yearly equity grant and vesting processes (RSUs, ISOs, performance and NQ stock options)
• Works with internal and external audit partners, and responds to auditors' inquiries
• Perform ISO disqualifying disposition survey
• Prepare and support 6039 project of Form 3921, year-end statement of taxable income, W-2 equity income reconciliations and equity related tax filings
• Generate reports as needed for audit, tax and legal filings
• Assist with quarterly preparation of all stock compensation related disclosures
• Assist with SOX procedures related to equity process
• Assist with various ad-hoc reporting/analysis equity related projects
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience in a financial field preferred
• Minimum of +5 years' experience with stock plan administration related to stock option, RSU, and performance stock options at a public company preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both verbal and written)
• Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to interface and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels
• Knowledge of Merrill Lynch a plus, expertise in Equity Edge Online and Excel
• CEP designation preferred
Salary Range
$90,000 - $140,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
