Job Details:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stock Plan Administrator (Hybrid) to join our dynamic team in the Financial Services industry. This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to manage our company's stock plan administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing strategic input on our compensation plans. You will be a key player in our HR and Accounting teams, working closely with senior management, legal, payroll, and finance departments. This position is hybrid, allowing for a balance of remote and on-site work.
Responsibilities:
1. Administer all aspects of the company’s equity programs including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), performance units, and the employee stock purchase plan (ESPP).
2. Ensure the accuracy of all equity data in our systems, including grants, exercises, releases, forfeitures, and cancellations.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEC regulations, ensuring compliance in all equity transactions.
4. Collaborate with the HR, payroll, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely tax withholding and reporting to employees and tax authorities.
5. Prepare equity summary reports for senior management and the board of directors.
6. Manage the company's 401k and K1 plans, ensuring all contributions, distributions, and loans are accurately processed and recorded.
7. Work closely with our broker, Morgan Stanley, to manage all equity plan transactions.
8. Provide excellent customer service to our employees, answering their questions and providing them with detailed information about their equity awards.
9. Support the year-end audit and quarterly reviews by providing all necessary equity-related reports and documentation.
10. Contribute to the design and implementation of compensation strategies and benefits packages, ensuring they are competitive and in line with our company’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in stock plan administration, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of all types of equity awards including stock options, RSUs, performance units, and ESPPs.
4. Extensive experience with SEC regulations and filings related to equity transactions.
5. Proficiency in managing 401k and K1 plans.
6. Experience working with Morgan Stanley or similar brokerage firms.
7. Strong understanding of tax withholding and reporting requirements related to equity transactions.
8. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to employees.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
10. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with equity administration software.
11. Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation is a plus.
